Register

In order to register for National Bank Online Banking you will need:

To have accounts with The National Bank
To be using a browser that is capable of 128-bit encryption
To have accounts where one signatory is authorised to sign alone

Note: If you are both a personal and a business/rural/trust customer and wish to have online access to accounts under both customer types, then you will need to register separately under both customer types.

 

Personal account holders
If you have personal accounts with The National Bank, you can register for Online Banking in any of our branches, at home or work. All you need to do to register is:

Have your customer number handy.
ATM

You will find your customer number on your Cashpoint or Thoroughbred Card.
Complete an online registration form and select a password.
Read and accept our Conditions of Use.
Call us on 0800 49 50 51 (+64 4 4739880) so that we can confirm your registration details and perform a number of security checks before activating your registration.

Click on continue to check your browser and go to the online registration form.

Business, Rural, Partnership and Trust Account Holders
Business, Rural, Partnership and Trust Account Holders may be registered for Online Banking if they are accounts where one signatory is authorised to sign alone. To register:

Have your customer number handy.
Complete the online registration form and select a password.
Read and accept the Non Personal Conditions of Use.
Call us on 0800 69 62 69 (+64 4 4739880) so that we can identify you and activate your registration.

Click on continue to check your browser and go to the online registration form.

Non-National Bank Customers
Online Banking is available for customers with at least one current account, savings account, credit card or term deposit account. You need to have single or 'several' signing authority on your accounts to have full online access.
