Additional cards
Additional cards for your partner, relatives or friends can be linked to
your credit card account. If you choose to link an additional card
to your account, you will be responsible
for payment and all transactions on the account (including the
additional cardholder's transactions). There will be no extra cost
for Freestyle cards, however a fee does apply for Platinum Visa Card, Thoroughbred and Gold
Thoroughbred Cards, Visa Classic, Visa Gold and Low Interest Visa cards.

How to submit your application
If the additional card applicant(s) is already a National Bank customer,
either applicant(s) can drop the
application into any branch of The National Bank.
If the additional
card applicant(s) is not a National Bank customer the applicant(s) will need
to present acceptable identification at any branch of The National Bank.
Identification required for new customers

One form of Photo ID, e.g. current driver's licence,
passport or photo credit card
OR
-
Two forms of non-photo ID, e.g. full New Zealand birth
certificate, certificate of New Zealand citizenship, credit
card, debit card, immigration papers.
