- Evidence of income (e.g. payslip or letter from employer) or how you will be funding your account.
If you are applying for a Graduate Personal Loan online - just complete and submit an online application
If you are new to The National Bank, in addition to the above, you will also need:
- Identification with a photo (e.g. driver's licence, passport, or credit card) or two forms of non-photographic ID (e.g. credit card, cash card)
- Your IRD number
- Previous three months' bank statements (Online Banking statements are acceptable) if you're applying for an overdraft, personal loan or credit card. You must be 18 years or older to apply for lending products
- Verification of your address (e.g. power bill, previous bank statement).
Our normal lending criteria apply.
A copy of the Bank's Disclosure Statement under the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1989 is available on this website or on request from any National Bank branch, free of charge.
